Simonds Building and Trade Program
Builders Academy Australia in collaboration with SEDA, provides Year 11 and 12 students with the opportunity to complete their Senior Secondary Education. Alongside completing their VCAL, students will gain their CPC20211 Certificate II in Construction Pathways and 22216VIC Certificate II in Building and Construction (Carpentry) Pre-Apprenticeship.
If you are a student who prefers a hands-on learning experience, this is your opportunity to learn more about a range of trades, begin a pathway towards an apprenticeship and start your career in building and construction. In addition to the formal qualifications participants receive, they also develop important life skills, such as organisation, independence, and resilience. Through a range of positive learning experiences, they discover self-confidence and self-worth, as well as developing their own strengths and talents.
SEDA is an education provider that engages, educates, and empowers young people as they transition from school to employment or further study. Registered with the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA), SEDA currently has over 2000 students completing their education in Victoria, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
