We require all people wishing to enrol in our Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) CPC40120 to have current building and construction experience.

Yes. To apply for an extension of time you can contact participation support prior to the due date either by phone or email to negotiate an agreed alternative date.

You will be advised upon enrolment or when making an enquiry if you need to do pre-course preparation.

For most courses, you will need to bring a pen and/or pencil and writing paper. On the first day of training, you will be provided with a course manual. Specific industry-related texts/resources may be needed for some courses.

Where written notification is received not less than 5 working days prior to the commencement date of a course, you may request one of the following:

  • A full refund of any course fees on cancellation
  • Transfer to another course – subject to availability
  • Substitution of another person to attend the nominated course

From 1st January 2015 all participants in Vocational Education and Training courses must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).  The USI will help you keep and track your  training records and results together in one account which is controlled by you.  Each time you enrol to study with a new training organisation your USI will be used to store your training records and results.  Then you can access your training records online whenever you need then, like when you start a new job or new course.  It is simple and quick to create your USI, and it is free.  Just go to http://www.usi.gov.au/Pages/default.aspx and have your medicare card handy.
