What qualifications do you need?

At BAA, we run two separate streams for the CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction. These include:

  • The experienced stream: for those with more than five years of industry experience.
  • The standard stream: for those with less than five years industry experience.

To qualify for our experienced stream, you must be currently working in the building and construction industry with at least five years experience or have successfully completed the CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building).

The Certificate IV is a great next step after completing your apprenticeship. It’s designed to further your career and prepare you for getting your building license with the Victorian Building Authority. At BAA, we also offer this course in two separate streams – one for those with more than three years of industry experience and one for those with less than three years experience.
