Discover the new life that you can live in one of the most liveable places in the world. Explore the amazing things that Victoria has to offer you.
Affordable Lifestyle
Melbourne is more affordable than many other cities like Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney.
World Class Education
Melbourne is home to some of the region’s best educational institutions.
Our talented population is highly educated with high levels of post-secondary qualifications. And it’s no wonder – Builders Academy Australia was awarded 2020 Victorian Small Provider of the Year, 2020 Australian Small Provider of the Year, and 2021 Victorian Small Provider of the Year!
Homes To Suit All Tastes
No matter what your taste or budget is, Melbourne has the perfect home for you.
If you love city living and want to be close to our campus on St. Kilda Road, why not live in one of our many inner city apartments? If you prefer more space and a quieter lifestyle, there are great suburbs within an easy commute of the city. The choice is yours.
Great Weather
Melbourne’s unique climate has something for everyone – summers that are warm, autumns that are moderate, winters that are cool, and springs that are sunny and bright.
When you’re enjoying Melbourne’s great outdoors, you’ll also notice our clean air quality. We don’t suffer from high levels of air pollution that are common to other major cities around the world.
Living In Melbourne
The inner city is a cluster of exciting communities connected by public transport and bike paths, and the BAA Melbourne Campus is at the heart of it all. Explore our famous parks, cobblestone lanes, go to a music festival, take in a world-class theatre production, sample amazing cuisine or catch an AFL game – you can do it all (and more!) in Melbourne.
Regional Victoria is known for its iconic beaches, wineries, bushwalking and farm-to-table food, and is just a short train or bus ride away.
Free Events
Substantial savings can be made by sharing accommodation, shopping at Melbourne’s famous markets and taking advantage of the many free events the city has to offer.
Just a short tram ride from our Melbourne Campus, you can enjoy many free sections of both National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) and NGV International. Across the road, there are also free areas to view in the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI). RMIT Gallery is nearby at 344 Swanston Street with an eclectic range of exhibitions. It’s not too well known, but the State Library of Victoria has an interesting range of free gallery spaces such as the Cowen Gallery. The Old Treasury Building at 20 Spring Street Melbourne has some free and permanent exhibits on the history of Melbourne, and the Shrine of Remembrance and related exhibits are free to visit as well.
