Am I eligible for fee-free courses?
Tradies are so essential that the government is currently helping more people to get into trades.
Government subsidies have been around for years, but recently the government has even made some courses fee-free for eligible students.
If you’ve been thinking of doing one of our building and construction courses, now is the time to dive right in.
What is Free TAFE for Priority Courses?
Free TAFE for Priority Courses is a government program that lets you do some courses for free.
The purpose of the program is to encourage people to get jobs in the industries where we need more workers.
This means that if you do a Free TAFE for a priority course, you’ll be studying for a line of work where there are lots of jobs available.
The program started in 2019, but it’s been such a raging success that they’re still continuing it and adding new courses every year.
At the time of writing this, 87,000 students have started a free TAFE course. That’s a total of $204 million in savings for students.
Like the sound of a free qualification in a line of work with plenty of jobs? It’s time to sign up for free TAFE.
